Jeannine LaRue Named to InsiderNJ’s LGBT Power List
We are pleased to share that KZG’s Jeannine LaRue, has been named to InsiderNJ’s LGBT Power List.
For the first time, InsiderNJ released their “Insider Out 100: NJ’s LGBT Power List,” which identifies the most influential LGBT leaders in New Jersey. Ranking Jeannine 9th on their Power List, InsiderNJ provided the following tribute to Jeannine which was provided by Maggie Moran, Managing Partner of Kivit:
“Smart, strategic, shrewd yet humble, Jeannine embodies everything you would want in a person who has dedicated a lifetime to making New Jersey a better place to live. To see her at work is to see one of the best. It is no coincidence, given her remarkable talents that she has held some of the most influential positions (from councilwoman to chief lobbyist to deputy chief of staff) that exist in New Jersey. Her communication skills – which always find the right tone of seriousness but are never immature or inappropriate – are a mixture of Diane Sawyer and Kamala Harris. Jeannine has the emotional fortitude of a winning NASCAR driver, which is all the more remarkable given all what she has sacrificed and the unbelievable life challenges she has faced. Yet, somehow, those dramatic personal challenges have elevated her soul. She strives to not just do her job extraordinarily well, but to make us all better by constantly working for change. And because of her, often that change has come, whether it be civil rights, women’s rights, or LGBT rights.”
