KZG’s Elizabeth Ortiz Helps to Find Rescued Dogs New Homes

Over the last few years, KZG’s Liz Ortiz has volunteered to open her home to over a dozen dogs in an effort to find them new homes. Liz’s efforts include, fostering dogs and providing them with the necessary care they need, screening potential adopters, and eventually placing these dogs with their new families.

Liz works with two organizations dedicated to rescuing pets and placing them in loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes. Furever Luv Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the Delaware Valley metro area. They are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless or in danger of abuse or neglect, and placing them with their new families after a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.

Love to Live Animal Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers committed to saving dogs lives. They rescue pets from high kill shelters and transport them to their new forever homes throughout the Northeast.
