Kendall “Ken” Murphy is a lobbyist and attorney with over thirty years of experience working in New Jersey’s courts and in state government offices. Whether working for the State Legislature, State departments and agencies, or as a seasoned attorney, Ken has devoted his professional life to using his vast knowledge of the law and public policy to get results for his clients.
Ken began his career in public service working as a Research Associate for the Assembly Democratic Office where he served as a legislative committee aide for several committees and was responsible for formulating and drafting legislative initiatives. He went on to serve as a Legislative Liaison for the NJ Department of Personnel and researched pending legislation and evaluated its impact on the department’s operations and prepared and delivered testimony before legislative committees.
After graduating from Widener Law School, Ken founded and managed his own law firm in the City of Trenton, working tirelessly for his clients, paying careful attention to his clients’ needs to secure successful outcomes.
The Law Office of Kendall S. Murphy, Esq., P.C. advocated on behalf of individuals and businesses alike, representing clients in criminal and civil matters in diverse subject areas ranging from tax matters to criminal appeals to family court cases.
Ken also served as a public defender for the City of Trenton.
Ken currently serves on the Board of Directors of Recovery Advocates of America, a non-profit peer-based recovery program providing substance use interventions and navigation resources for the treatment of substance use disorders.
Ken is a member of Mercer County Bar Association, and has also belonged to the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the State Bar Association. Ken is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
