TZG’s Eric Orlando Provides Insights on New Jersey Brewery Regulations Featured in ROI-NJ
In a recent article by ROI-NJ, TZG’s Eric Orlando, and Executive Director of the Brewers Guild of New Jersey, shared his perspectives and knowledge on the evolving regulatory landscape for local breweries in the Garden State.
Eric emphasized the positive impact of these reforms, stating, “These changes offer breweries a level of predictability previously lacking in the industry.” He highlighted the benefits of the craft beer industry for local economies, noting its role as an anchor business in the revitalization efforts of local towns.
He was also quoted stating, “They’ve embraced this industry because they see benefits in terms of it being small businesses with a manufacturing component that buy local and serve the hospitality and tourism sector. These have also been anchor businesses in the revitalization efforts of local towns. It checks a lot of boxes.”
Eric currently serves as Government Affairs Director for the Brewers Guild of New Jersey, representing the policy interests of over 150 independent craft breweries and brewpubs in the Garden State. The Guild’s mission is to promote sensible, innovative policies that increase purchase opportunities for consumers and enhance the visibility of New Jersey craft beer. He has been recognized for his influential role in the industry, named to the annual ROI-NJ Influencers List in 2023 and 2024. Eric is also the recipient of the F.X Matt Defense of the Industry Award for 2024 from the National Brewers Association.
